I have a SONY Multiscan 15sx monitor, the problem is that the screen flickers at random time. Once a while the screen starts to flicker just like it loses frame synchronization. Older ones can only take one scan rate. Also, there's a matter of resolution. Some resolutions require a certain scanrate as per industry standard.

I don't think it matters who loads the monitor profile - the important thing is that it gets loaded. An even simpler way to load it would be to set it as your Monitor's system profile, using "Control Panel>Display>Properties>Advanced>Color Management".
